Lowenna is located close to one of Penzance’s most talked about streets, Chapel St. It’s an area full character buildings, great shops, galleries and restaurants and a short walk from the sea front.
This two bedroom modern home is a perfect base to explore the local area. With St Michael’s Mount, Porthcurno, Sennen and Mousehole all within easy reach you’ll have no shortage of places to explore. St Ives is a 20 minute drive away.

Lowenna is a contemporary home in the heart of Penzance.
Enter via the front door into a hallway, adjacent is the open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The Living area has a large L shaped leather sofa, TV and Amazon Echo Dot so you can relax and unwind. The dining area seats four and you’ll find a well equipped kitchen to the rear.
In the kitchen you’ll find an electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer and plenty of crockery, glassware and cooking utensils.
Head on upstairs and there is a master bedroom with double bed, TV and DVD and plenty of storage.
The twin room has two single beds and again storage. Bedding and towels are provided.
The bathroom has a large bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.

We’re a small local team dedicated to make your stay work. We may knock on to say hello but we’re always here to assist if you need us. We know the local area very well and will happily point you in the right directions.
You’ll be located in a really great part of town. Chapel Street has lots of galleries, shops and restaurants that are worth a look. The butchers is nearby and the other main shopping streets of Penzance are a few minutes walk away.
The Honey Pot, The Cornish Hen and The Bakehouse are all worth heading to. The butchers is really good and serves great pasties.
The Admiral Benbow is a historic pub on chapel street.
A 3-5 minute walk away is the harbourfront and promenade including the Jubilee Pool with it’s year round geothermal pool. Well worth a visit and the cafe is really good for a swimming pool to.
The property doesn’t include car parking so if arriving by car you’ll need to use on street car parking which is free nearby but there are some restricted areas or head to one of the public car parks.
If arriving by train we’re only a 5-10 minute walk away and you’ll find the area well served by buses for getting to the likes of Lands End, Mousehole, Sennen and St Ives.

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf in deze woning. De woning is netjes, leuk ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is een halfopen woning, de naastgelegen woning wordt ook verhuurd. Je hoort de buren soms wanneer ze de trap op of af gaan, maar wij hadden hier geen last van, het waren rustige mensen. Er is geen parking, maar het is wel gemakkelijk om voor de deur de bagage uit te laden. Wij parkeerden telkens gratis langs de promenade. Omdat we meestal laat terugkwamen van onze uitstappen, was daar altijd plaats. Het Cornische welkomstpakket was een heel fijne attentie. De ligging is ideaal: dicht bij een Lidl die op weekdagen tot 23u open is, en centraal genoeg om allerlei uitstappen te maken in de omgeving.

Very clean, lovely bedding and towels, great location for town, promenade, Morrab gardens. We were blessed with fabulous weather which certainly helped!
We had a great stay in Penzance and Sam's place was well-located. We didn't have a car but it was perfect for walking, biking and public transport. The house was comfortable and well-equipped and the welcome pack of bread, milk and biscuits was very welcome! We'd definitely recommend if you need a central location for easily exploring West Cornwall.
A lovely week in Penzance. Positive: It was a lovely property very clean and comfortable it had all we needed in a lovely location. There were supply's left for us bread milk cakes butter etc it was very appreciated. Negative: Nothing
Sam is good at communication and responds promptly. His place is clean and tidy, located in a quiet neighborhood. It's just a 10-minute walk to the train station, and there's a lovely small garden within a 4-minute walk—peaceful and pleasant. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Highly recommended for your stay.
Great house in the centre of Penzance, very peacefully tucked away but walkable to the train/ bus station in under 10 mins. Very well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, delightful welcome hamper of treats, and the host kindly let us know the house was available for an early check-in that worked great with our train time. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a great stay in this lovely house which I would highly recommended. Lovely quiet location, very comfortable, modern and clean. Super responsive host to any teething issues… highly recommended for a great stay in Penzance.
Lowenna House is central for the town & amenities. A short stroll to the Promenade or down Abbey slip to the Harbour. The Cornish ''Welcome Pack'' is a lovely touch as was the complimentary service mid-stay. Thank you Jocelyn

Penzance is a proper working town with a creative streak. The promenade sweeps along Mount’s Bay, the Scillonian sails from the harbour, and the streets around Chapel Street are full of independent shops, galleries and good cafés. Take a dip in the Art Deco Jubilee Pool, walk the prom towards St Michael’s Mount, and you’ll soon see why so many people make it their base for exploring the far west.
