Positive: Great location. Very comfortable. Odd thing I know but I stay in many hotels and Airbnb’s but the bath towels were amazing. Sam was great. Overall. Great stay. Negative: Nothing comes to mind.

Trenwith is the perfect base for exploring West Penwith, an extras special part of Cornwall. With white beaches, clear blue seas and a unique laid back way of life, it’s an area to inspire you.
Within easy reach is the Penzance promenade, Jubilee Pool (with it’s geothermal pool) and harbour front.

Trenwith is set in the heart of Penzance, near the characterful Chapel Street which is renowned for it’s galleries, antique shops and restaurants, we’ll let you know our favourites to.
A semi detached home with an open plan living space with a modern kitchen, dining space for four and living area with TV, Amazon Echo Dot and leather sofas.
Upstairs you’ll find a master bedroom with a double bed, plenty of storage and a TV. In the twin room are two full size singles and storage.
The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
We’re a small local holiday company that know West Penwith very very well. We live locally and explore our area frequently so know lots of great places to eat, beach, do and see. We’re available to talk to and help when you need us. We mostly leave our guests to it but you might get a friendly knock on the door to check everything is ok.
What a town Penzance is. Being at the end of the mainline and so far West brings a wealth of character, a touch of bohemian and oodles of history.
You’ll find everything in walking distance for a great stay, including some great cafes and shops and restaurants. If you wanted to stay in town you’ll find plenty to do with boat trips, the SW Coast Path, Jubilee Pool and Prom but if you jump in the car or on a bus and head further West there are some wonderful coves and beaches to explore.
Walks are plentiful and a stroll along the Prom to Newlyn and even Mousehole is recommended.
St Michael’s Mount is also well worth a visit.
Penzance is one of the few places in Cornwall where you really can use public transport as a viable option. We’re a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, you can reach St Ives by train (with one stop). There are buses that go to places such as Lands End, Sennen and St Ives, we’d recommend the open top bus in season.
For walks, we’d recommend picking a spot on the SW Coast Path and explore. It can be a bit tricky in places so be prepared and maybe research your walk a little first.

A great place to stay without a car, very easy walk to bus station and shops. Very clean , modern and downstairs cloakroom was an unexpected surprise. Welcome pack was particularly welcome as our Sainsbury’s delivery didn’t arrive because their van had broken down! Would highly recommend .

We had a great time! Trenwith is in easy walking distance of both the town centre (pubs, shops and restaurants) as well as the seafront. The house was clean and very well equipped, and very peaceful for a good sleep. Parking on nearby streets was no problem, and the shower was great! Good info from host, and easy to check-in. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a really lovely experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained and the location was excellent and convenient for getting around. The check-in and check-out were very easy and straightforward, which made the whole stay hassle-free. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we really enjoyed our time here. Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially for the location, cleanliness, and convenience. Highly recommended, and we would definitely consider staying here again!
We had a great stay, everything was as described, clean, well equipped, great beds and shower, and the hamper on arrival was appreciated. The rooms do get hot, we were in the middle of a heat wave, so the fan provided was helpful, but we could have done with one in each bedroom. All in all, a great Airbnb, in a fab location close to station, harbour and excellent restaurants.

Lovely, well-equipped cottage Positive: Lovely, well-equipped, and clean cottage in a central location – less than 5 mins walking to the promenade and seaside. Everything was well thought through and organised – there was even a games console and the authentic Cornish welcome products were a really nice touch. My 14 year old daughter commented twice how lovely they cottage is – teenagers rarely noticed these things! Negative: Nothing to dislike but one suggestion is to have a proper broom – was difficult to try to sweep with the half handle broom.

Positive: Cleanliness Contact less room management On arrival arrangement which included bread, butter, clotted cream, scones, fruit, etc. Negative: Would have loved to see a face at the least More details of waste/rubbish seggration included along with the fine statement (we were confused with wet waste)

Penzance is a proper working town with a creative streak. The promenade sweeps along Mount’s Bay, the Scillonian sails from the harbour, and the streets around Chapel Street are full of independent shops, galleries and good cafés. Take a dip in the Art Deco Jubilee Pool, walk the prom towards St Michael’s Mount, and you’ll soon see why so many people make it their base for exploring the far west.
