The kitchen, tucked neatly at the rear, is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge – everything you need to enjoy simple meals at home. The main bathroom is also located on this floor and now features a modern walk-in shower, ideal for refreshing after a day out exploring.
A set of open-tread stairs leads up to the spacious mezzanine-style bedroom, which overlooks the living area and has been cleverly designed to accommodate families. The king-size bed can be sectioned off from the two single beds via folding doors, allowing for privacy or a more open-plan feel depending on your needs. The entire apartment is warmed by underfloor heating, creating a cosy atmosphere even on cooler evenings.
Step out through the living room doors onto the private balcony, where you can soak in the salty air, listen to the waves, and enjoy leisurely breakfasts or sunset drinks with an uninterrupted view of the Atlantic. In the summer months, guests can also make use of private access to the beach below – a rare and special feature of the Barnaloft apartments.
With its enviable location just a short stroll from the Tate, the harbour, and several of St Ives’ most loved beaches, 15 Barnaloft offers a peaceful yet central base for discovering the very best of West Cornwall. The apartment also includes private parking for one car in an on-site garage, and shared access to a coin-operated laundry facility.

Great location and the apartment was superb. Bonus of the bathroom having being newly renovated compared to the photos and the shower was great! So close to all of St Ives amenities. Bonus of free parking in the allocated garage. Will definitely book again.
We had lovely week in St Ives at this beautiful beach front apartment and despite it being April we were very lucky with the weather and had lots of sunshine. There were a few teething problems during our stay but they were dealt with promptly and the communication with Ocean Holidays was excellent. Check in/out was easy. The property is in a great location, stunning view of Porthmeor Beach and surrounding area and easy access to the beach. Handy shop nearby but very close to main shops too. We even managed to fit our estate car in the garage so didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot which was a huge bonus as we had initially thought our car would be too big for the garage! The property has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay especially the extremely well equipped kitchen with modern appliances and recently refurbished bathroom. It was lovely falling asleep listening to the waves crashing on the shore. We would definitely stay here again!
St Ives
St Ives has a way of pulling you in — not just for the sea and the light, but for the feeling. The beaches are golden, the harbour hums with life, and around every corner there’s something quietly special: a tucked-away bakery, a gallery you didn’t mean to find, a lane that leads somewhere worth pausing. It’s busy in summer, sure — but come in the shoulder months and you’ll see it slow down, breathe, open up.
