Harbour View – 6 Fernlea Court

We had a fantastic stay at Fernlea Court. The location is absolutely amazing, a short walk from all the beaches and harbour and cafes in St Ives. The view from the apartment was absolutely breathtaking. Would thoroughly recommend and we will go back. The only challenge is parking (completely normal for St Ives) , but we were lucky that we got a space almost immediately in St Ives Car park

Das angenehmste an der Wohnung ist der wunderschöne Blick auf die Altstadt und den Hafen. Oft haben wir im Wohnzimmer gesessen und den Ausblick genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sie liegt zentral, gerade wenn man mit dem Zug anreist, ist sie gut zu erreichen.

We found Harbour View apartment suited our needs perfectly. It has a fabulous view of the harbour, ever-changing in varying light and tides. The accommodation is well-equipped and very comfortable. Location is superb: it is a short walk to everything – the rail station, down to Porthminster beach as well as to all the amenities of the harbour, town centre and Porthmeor beach. Although we never met, Sam provided excellent information about access, exit and local amenities, as well as being readily available if we needed. We would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

We stayed for 6 days and loved it! Amazing view of the harbour and sunset with big window doors to open. Nice kitchen, all there if you want to cook at home. Very comfortable beds! Amazing coffee place and restaurant right next door. Great location between harbour and Porthminster Beach, easily walkable to the other beaches.

Die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer auf den Hafen ist einmalig und kompensiert die Schlafzimmer, die an der lärmigen Hauptstrasse liegen. Das war uns nicht bewusst.

Nice apartment, the standout really has to be the view from the living room which is outstanding. I could have sat there all day! Apartment had everything we needed and was close to the station. I was slightly dreading the walk uphill but it was very manageable even while pregnant. A few minor things came up like a fridge needing a deep clean / a few stains on cushions etc but they were responsive when I fed this back. The bedrooms are on the road side so worth bringing some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper but the windows have double glazing. I’d recommend this apartment but I didn’t realise I was booking through a holiday let company so I’d check prices directly rather than just booking on Airbnb in the future 🙂
