The Oyster catcher is a great property to stay at for a large family. The location was perfect for exploring Hayle, St Ives and surrounding beaches. Places nearby to eat are highly recommended. We visited The Forge more than once. Great food and atmosphere. The short walk to St Erth train station made visiting St Ives very straightforward and convenient. Having visited numerous areas in Cornwall, this is without doubt our favourite location. We would highly recommend staying at the Oyster Catcher. Thank you to Sam and team.😁

fantastic modern property suitable for a large family. the house everything you would need to make yourself at home. sam is a good host who only seems happy to help. lelant itself was a great place to stay with train access into Saint ives and carbis bay which runs a regular service. we would love definitely return 😃

This house is a real home from home. It has everything you need for a family holiday. It’s got a very very well equipped kitchen and Sam provided everything you needed to keep everywhere clean. A real bonus! Thank you The house its self is spacious and very very comfortable. Beds were very comfy and bedrooms spacious with plenty of wardrobes and hangers! We all loved it so much so our grandsons want us to book again! 3 Bathrooms and separate loo also a bonus. A safe and secure patio for your dogs also a bonus. The house is situated in a quiet cul de sac very private with lovely neighbours and well within walking distance of a pub a couple of bistros and 2 branch line stations. Walking with the dogs was easy and lovely along the Saltings and a further walk will take you to the beach and golf course. Just lovely. Sam has been very helpful, friendly and very responsive. We would very happily and confidently book this place again. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Beautiful big house that was perfect for our family holiday. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms allowing everyone their privacy while also spending time together in the big shared spaces. The location is strategic to reach different attractions in West Cornwall and also easy to reach from other parts of the UK as it's close to the main road into Cornwall. Sam gave us plenty of tips on what to do and where to eat. We had a wonderful stay!

Had a fabulous week at the Oystercatcher with my young family and dog! This house really has everything you need – the team have thought of every little detail. There were lots of books and games to play, wind breaks for the beach, lots of garden seating and plenty of space in the house that it never felt crowded. The only minor issue was that in the heat of the summer, we had all the windows open at night and the main road outside the front bedrooms was quite noisy. But everyone managed to sleep well after days full of adventure! Despite this, we would happily stay here again for a really enjoyable holiday!

Once we found the rear of the property, (satnav took us down the wrong road) entering was very easy! And after a very long eight hour journey from London the welcome pack including tea, coffee, sugar and milk was very much appreciated. Another bonus was having three bathrooms. No queuing for our morning shower! Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the St Ives area.

We had brilliant 5 nights stay at the oystercatcher. Great place to stay to access St ives & Penzance using the train lines. Good parking at the house for two cars.
