Step into this flambuoyant coastal haven, where a spacious open-plan layout invites you to embrace the warmth of togetherness. The well-equipped kitchen, sociable dining area, and cosy sitting space with a smart TV and logburner, create an ideal gathering spot.

Unwind in comfort in the cinema room, complete with a large projector screen and your very own popcorn machine, delivering an immersive cinematic experience within the comforts of home.

When you feel the need to relax, indulge in a therapy in the spa room (we can suggest local spa treatment therapists) or recharge in the beautiful sauna. Guests can also rejuvenate in the bubbling hot tub.

The sociable outside area to the rear of the property has a fire pit, seating, hot tub, bbq and plenty of space for all your party to enjoy an al fresco evening, all stylishly lit up.

Retreat to any of the five sumptuous bedrooms spread across the first and second floors, including three luxurious super-king-size rooms, each adorned with Smart TVs

Amidst the captivating Cornish landscape, explore nearby treasures like Portheras cove or delve into the historic Botallack Mine, a filming location for BBC’s Poldark series. Wander along the South West Coast Path, offering sweeping vistas of cliffs and hills or visit Pendeen Watch Lighthouse.

The Queen’s Arms is a 5 minute walk away, great for a bite to eat or a pint.

With Penzance, St Ives, St Just, Sennen and Lands End within easy reach, Sunset House serves as your gateway to an luxurious Cornish adventure.

The garage will not be accessible.

We’re a local Airbnb specialist who live and breathe all things West Cornwall. We’ll respect your privacy but may knock on or contact you during your stay to check things are all good.

You’ll be located near the rugged mining and wild North Coast of Cornwall. A local pub, The Queen’s Arms is a 5 minute walk away and the historic mine workings of Botallack are a 5-10 minute walk away.
Portheras Beach is a short 5-10 minute drive away, along with Sennen Beach a 20 minute drive and the beaches in Mounts Bay a 15 minute drive away.

We’d recommend a car to get around easily, it’s quite remote here albeit there is a local bus service.
Cycling is popular and you can hire bikes locally which are a great way of exploring this area, even cycling to St Ives.
There are some fabulous walks nearby.
If you wish to travel by train, the nearest station is Penzance and you can hire a car from here.

Hot Tub Rules

Use the toilet and shower before entering the hot tub.
Not wear sun tan lotions, spray tans or skin creams in the hot tub.
Not use the spa after a heavy meal or under the influence of alcohol or sedatives.
Keep their head above the water in the hot tub.
Not exceed 15 minutes’ immersion in the hot tub at a time.
Not exceed the maximum number of bathers (one per seat).
Seek medical advice before entering the hot tub if they’re pregnant, have health problems, or are immunosuppressed.
Supervise all children in and around the spa and not allow children under four years of age, or those unable to keep their head above the water level when sitting, in the spa.

Sauna Rules

Overheating is a risk – following exercise, let your body cool down before entering a sauna.
Avoid dehydration – drink plenty of fluids before and after each use.
Limit sessions to between 15 and 20 minutes.
Exercise caution around hot surfaces, especially the coals.
No under 16’s.
