Sehr schönes Cottage in äusserst schöner Umgebung. Ruhige Lage und trotzdem Nahe an Restaurants und Shops. Das Cottage fühlte sich sehr heimelig an.

Relax at this peaceful cottage in Trowan near St Ives. Set near the coast you can enjoy beautiful views over fields to the Atlantic Ocean.
Whatever the time of year, Rosewall Cottage is a welcoming and homely place to stay. The garden is a highlight, spacious and enclosed it’s perfect for four legged friends and admiring the far reaching country and sea views. There is outdoor seating to make the most of sunny days and a cosy woodburner in the living room for when it turns cooler.

This peaceful hamlet is only a 40 minute walk to St Ives.
The accommodation has two double bedrooms and a family bathroom with overhead shower.
Downstairs is open plan living with kitchen, dining and living all in one sociable space.
The living area has a sofa, tub chair and a woodburner when you want to cosy up.
Outside is a beautiful enclosed garden with patio, dining table and chairs and views of the sea.
Guests can access all areas of the property.
We’re a small local holiday business hosting stays in our favourite areas in West Cornwall, Trowan is hard to beat!
We normally leave our guests in peace and use a self service check-in. This said we might knock on if we’re passing to see how you’re getting on and we are available to help if you need us.
Living here we know all the good spots, if you’d like us to share them we’d be more than happy to!
Trowan is a rural hamlet and doesn’t have mains water. The water supply here is private and under a maintenance agreement if there are any issues.
The access lane to Trowan is fairly narrow in a typical Cornish lane style! We get our works van down here with no problem and tractors go up and down it.
The car park is a communal space for the hamlet, with up to two cars allowed per property. It’s a short walk across a courtyard to Rosewall Cottage – about 25-50.
Please note that Rosewall Cottage is an original Cornish granite cottage in an exposed location. During periods of strong wind, some wind noise may be noticeable around the property.

Positive: No breakfast. But location warmth cozy . Negative: Lock on door very hard to open.
A lovely cottage which we enjoyed with our dog. No issues, but to note for others; -Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture which I wish I’d know beforehand and isn’t on the initial listing. – The garden is enclosed but the walls are low so our dog would be able to get out if not watched. – There’s hard flooring throughout which was good in the wet to make sure we could clean the floor easily with muddy feet and paws. – There’s no microwave but the kitchen is otherwise great! They kindly let us stay a couple of hours past check out time which may not be possible in peak season but was a god send for us given unexpected delays the day before.

Als Zwischenstadion für 1-2 Tage gut geeignet. Ansonsten doch schon sehr abseits.

Geweldig Positive: Locatie was 10/10. Tuin was 10/10. Interieur was geweldig. De stilte ( als de buur hondjes niet blaffen) Negative: Iets te veel spinnenwebben bij de ramen/plafond en kleine veel blaffende buur hondjes
Rose. Positive: Lovely place, nice and quiet location, a 40 min walk into St Ives which is straight forward. Negative: If you need WiFi it was slow but that was being addressed so shouldn't be a problem soon. Not a lot to dislike, only niggle is that it could have done with a microwave.

St Ives
St Ives has a way of pulling you in — not just for the sea and the light, but for the feeling.
