The separate dining room, with its generous table and French doors opening onto the first of two decked balconies, is a lovely spot to gather over meals or board games. Outside, the dual-level terraces offer uninterrupted views of the sea and the rugged St Ives headland, perfect for a morning coffee, alfresco lunches, or watching the sun dip into the Atlantic with a drink in hand.
The calm and elegant master bedroom is one the first floor, with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bath and a separate shower. The second bedroom is located on the ground floor and offers two 2’6″ single beds which can be zipped together to form a second king-size if preferred, making the space flexible for families or friends.
A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the accommodation, while a washing machine adds extra convenience for longer stays.
With the beach just moments away and the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, Trewirgie is an ideal base for days spent swimming, surfing, or hiking along this dramatic stretch of coastline. An excellent host and house. The house was very clean and really well equipped. It was 5 mins from the beach and the centre of St Ives. We would definitely come back again.
Beautiful location overlooking a stunning beach. We arrived in the height of the heatwave, so the apartment was a little uncomfortable at night. The area itself is super, with lots to see and do. However, it is on top of a very steep hill with hilly walks down to the town and beach. Worth bearing in mind for those with mobility challenges. The apt. is very well equipped. However, it would have been helpful to know that there were some 'beach supplies' (i.e. windbreaker, parasol, chairs) under the stairs which we would have used! Lovely deck outside with fantastic views for meals/watching the sunset. An umbrella for the outside table would have been great to enable us to sit out during the day.

Amazing property in a fabulous location with the views as good as in the advertising photographs. Everything was perfect for a relaxing stay in St Ives. The parking is a big bonus but it took a few tries to negotiate the tight angles to park the car and emerge in the right direction! Only one request – a sun umbrella on the deck as it gets very hot and sunny on the deck ( perhaps we were just lucky with the exceptional weather! Thank you Sam. We will be back!
Absolutely amazing! The pictures don’t actually do it justice. Views were breathtaking, spent hours watching the sea come in and out and the surfers, not to mention the amazing sunsets. Very well equipped, beds were very comfortable, lots of room, 3 patio areas!!!! Welcome hamper was great, parking for 3 cars, very accessible for the beach (and a soon to be opened community sauna) and a great find with West cafe. Cannot wait to come back!
Had a great couple of weeks at Trewirgie, location very good to get into Town, with lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from, amazing views, very clean and comfortable accommodation. And ample parking room for 2 cars. Highly recommend.
An amazing location with views to die for. Sam and Meg were very responsive to our questions and very helpful with suggested walks etc. It was hard to leave this wonderful place

St Ives has a way of pulling you in — not just for the sea and the light, but for the feeling. The beaches are golden, the harbour hums with life, and around every corner there’s something quietly special: a tucked-away bakery, a gallery you didn’t mean to find, a lane that leads somewhere worth pausing. It’s busy in summer, sure — but come in the shoulder months and you’ll see it slow down, breathe, open up.
