With stunning views over Trewyn Gardens as well as the town, harbour and St Ives bay and situated conveniently in town with private parking, 2 The Elms makes a perfect holiday home.
Stylish 3 storey apartment in the recently converted Elms building, it is finished to a high standard with beautiful kitchen, stunning sitting and dining area, huge windows and great views. It is bright with three spacious bedrooms as well as 3 bathrooms, two of which are ensuite.

It’s light and airy, spacious and perfect for friends and family.
Enter via steps to the external front door, once inside there is the family bathroom, a bedroom and kitchen dining area on the first floor. The bedroom on this floor can be made as a twin or a king.
The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, slow cooker, washer/dryer,Nepresso coffee machine. The dining table seats six.
Head up a floor and there is a good sized living room with doors that open out to overlook Trewyn Gardens, the harbour and beyond.
Head up to the second floor and there are two double bedrooms in the eaves with ensuites. They have areas with limited head space but great views and are full of character.
2 The Elms has an onsite parking space in a car port. It is possible to fit two cars one behind the other providing the cars are not excessively long.
We use a keysafe system and send out details prior to arrival. We’re on hand if you need us!
We’re on the phone, emails and have a site full of information. We may also pop round to check everythings ok, but we never want to interfere with your holiday. In essence, feel free to tap into our local knowledge we’ll happily share it!
The property is located a few seconds away from the heart of town. Set back overlooking Trewyn gardens it is away from the hustle and bustle but restaurants, pubs and shops are literally a few seconds away.
The beaches are a 5 minute walk away.
St Ives as a town is well renowned in many circles, from artists to surfers and those who love a good English seaside holiday!
The water is crystal clear, the light is stunning, sunsets burst through and the art galleries are a real highlight, especially Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum.
All in all it’s a delightful place to be 365 days of the year.
We’re a 5 minute walk to the train station and bus station. Public transport is ok from here with the trainline joining the mainline at St Erth. The bus routes are pretty good to.
The property has the amazing bonus of a car parking space, a rare and valuable commodity in St Ives!
When the Juliette balcony doors are open we strongly recommend any children are constantly supervised.

Fantastic location and great views.
This was our 2nd holiday at the Elms. We love it. Very comfortable and in a perfect position for all of the beaches and the town. We can’t wait to get back next year. We booked before we left.
2 The Elms is a fantastic place to stay in the centre of St Ives with easy access to shops and the beach and has beautiful views. There was a generous amount of kitchen equipment suitable for cooking and the property was spacious to cope with three generations. The parking was a huge added advantage also. We appreciated the pastel decor and seaside glassware around the house which added to the seascape vibe.
We booked this property as we needed the space for my wife & I, my two daughters & their husbands (after two weddings last year!!) so this place ticked all the boxes!Our daughters & sons in-laws had the upper rooms, both double beds with en-suites while my wife and I had the lower room. Two single beds but pushed together, but not a problem. Not en-suite but bathroom next to it. A good sized kitchen, reasonably well equipped and a huge lounge up a few steps with double doors that open up to a glass wall balcony with views over the town with the harbour & part of the pier visible.We had two cars & there was enough space for them both, one completely under cover of the raised walkway and patio of adjacent properties, the other partly. Some steps to get to the front doors but not too bad.Very handy for the shops and not too far from most beaches either.Only downside was, as it is so close to the centre of town it was noisy at night & early in the morning too. Teenagers would gather in the nearby Trewyn Gardens, drinking and being rowdy. That was Friday to Sunday nights, then it was noise from the nearby pubs after midnight! The Thursday night being the worst with shouting audible until 2am! Not what you needed before having to be up & out by 10am Friday morning.Would probably stay here again if we came away as a family again.
Third time we have stayed, and again we had another great time at the Elms
We had a lovely stay at The Elms, the location was perfect and the apartment was beautiful with plenty of space for us and our 4 children. We’d definitely stay here again the next time we visit St Ives.
We loved Sam’s place & intend to return. It was stylish, yet homely; had plenty of room; gorgeous views; and was really central yet still quiet. And parking – which is so rare in St Ives!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A superb space in a fantastic location. Couldn't have asked for better!
St Ives
St Ives has a way of pulling you in, not just for the sea and the light, but for the feeling. The beaches are golden, the harbour hums with life, and around every corner there’s something quietly special: a tucked-away bakery, a gallery you didn’t mean to find, a lane that leads somewhere worth pausing. It’s busy in summer, sure, but come in the shoulder months and you’ll see it slow down, breathe and open up.
