Step inside through your own private front door, complete with stained glass, and you’ll immediately sense the building’s history alongside its clever refurbishment. Although an apartment, the layout and space give it the feel of a house, somewhere you can quickly settle in and make your own.
At the centre of the home is the open-plan kitchen and dining space. A large dining table invites long, relaxed meals, while the kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, an American-style fridge freezer and, of course, an espresso machine to complete the Italian feel.
Across the hallway, the living room is warm and welcoming, with leather sofas, wooden floors and a TV with DVD player. There’s also a sofa bed available for an additional guest, just let us know when booking and we’ll provide the extra linens and towels. From here, you can enjoy views across the rooftops towards Trewyn Gardens.
Further along the hallway, you’ll find a separate utility room with both a washing machine and dryer, as well as access to a rear patio with a washing line. There’s also a convenient WC, along with two beautifully finished ensuite bedrooms.
The master bedroom features a king-size ‘floating’ bed, while the second bedroom offers a comfortable double bed. Both rooms include generous storage and large windows that fill the space with light. Each ensuite has a spacious shower with a drench head, creating a calm, hotel-like feel.
With dedicated parking right outside and the centre of St Ives just a short stroll away, everything is within easy reach, yet you’ll still enjoy a quieter, more relaxed setting. 3 The Elms is part of a sought-after development that perfectly balances location, comfort and style.
As 3 The Elms is an apartment there is a floor above you and there is a possibility you will hear sounds from the property above. We always ask our guests to be respectful of their neighbours.

Great stay, perfect location, close to beach, shops, restaurants, central but just tucked away, couldn’t have got a more perfect location, lovely big apartment for 2 couples, great to have en suites in both bedrooms, had everything you need, great towels and lovely modern furnishings, in general, very clean, had everything you could possible need in kitchen, having dishwasher, washer and dryer was handy and just enough outside space. Would definitely return there.
Exceptional apartment Positive: We wish we'd booked longer in this wonderful apartment. It felt genuinely luxurious, stylish artwork consistent throughout. More practically the kitchen was well equipped, all beds comfortable and the bathrooms clean with good water pressure. Amazing location, close to the heart of everything yet without being noisy as it's set back from the street. Off street private parking a huge plus point in peak season in St Ives.
Fab home right in town with parking right outside, couldn’t have asked for a better location. Easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants right in the heart of St Ives.
This was our second stay at 3 The Elms. And we had an idyllic week. Summer time in St Ives is busy and the flat is next to a public garden and workshop. Yes, there was more noise than we experienced at New Year but it did not disrupt our holiday. The flat had everything we needed including a cooling fan, and ice in the fridge dispenser. Very thoughtful given the heatwave. The location is excellent for all beaches and the harbour. Really recommend Ardour restaurant and Cintra Seafood Bar on the harbour. We will be coming back.
This is an excellent property for anyone staying in St Ives. Very easy to access with a proper parking space and plenty of room to spread out which is rare in St Ives. Easy walk from the apartment to anywhere in the town and beaches. Despite a couple of cleanliness issues that were resolved very quickly I would not hesitate to stay again
Lovely apartment, nicely furnished, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. And a great location in the centre of St Ives.
A great flat tucked away but very close to St Ives’ restaurants, cafes and beaches. The flat is a good size, all rooms are big and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and communication and check in was very smooth. Slight issue is that it is next to a park which is a local youth hang out spot on the nights so there is a bit of noise around but other than that it’s a perfect location for St Ives, even has a parking space which is rare for the town centre.
We loved staying at The Elms in St Ives. The location is perfect, just outside the middle of the centre of the shopping area and easy walking to a couple of beaches. It’s also close to the local buses so we were able to easily catch the bus to St Ives, Gwithian, Penzance and back from Hayle. We did some beautiful coastal walks during our week stay and had a lovely time frequenting the local bakeries, restaurants and pubs. Word of warning – watch out for those seagulls! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay , 5 mins walk to St ives harbour.
St Ives has a way of pulling you in, not just for the sea and the light, but for the feeling. The beaches are golden, the harbour hums with life, and around every corner there’s something quietly special: a tucked-away bakery, a gallery you didn’t mean to find, a lane that leads somewhere worth pausing. It’s busy in summer, sure, but come in the shoulder months and you’ll see it slow down, breathe and open up.
